Welcome to MetaGen. Before you use our free app, please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using MetaGen, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
1. Introduction
MetaGen is a free app developed by Envoke Network Limited. It allows users to generate and share metadata for music.
2. Use of the App
MetaGen is provided for personal use. You may not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using MetaGen.
3. No Account Requirement
MetaGen does not require users to create an account to access its features
4. Privacy
MetaGen respects your privacy. We do not collect personal information. Our Privacy Policy sets out what stays on your device and the few things that leave it, such as a crash report or a look-up you ask for. Please refer to it for more details.
5. Content Ownership
The content generated or provided by MetaGen remains the property of the user. Envoke Network Limited does not claim ownership of any user-generated content.
6. Intellectual Property
MetaGen and its content (excluding user-generated content) are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.
7. Disclaimer of Warranty
MetaGen is provided “as is” without any warranties, expressed or implied. Envoke Network Limited does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the app.
8. Limitation of Liability
Envoke Network Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
9. Modifications
Envoke Network Limited reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue MetaGen at any time without notice. We may also update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Termination
Envoke Network Limited reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to MetaGen at its discretion, without prior notice.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, United Kingdom.
12. Look-ups and Suggestions
The app can search MusicBrainz, Credits.fm, Spotify and Apple Music for identifiers such as an IPI, an ISNI or an ISRC. Those databases belong to other people and are built from public and contributed sources. What comes back is a suggestion to check, not a fact: many people share a name, and a result can be the wrong person. Please check anything before you rely on it or send it to a society. Envoke Network Limited is not responsible for what those sources say.
